Welcome to Koscinski Chinchillas
We started raising chinchillas as just a hobby about 7 years ago, and since then we have been raising, breeding, and showing chinchillas with all the time we can spare and loving every minute of it. We first began our fascination with chinchillas because they are such great pets and so naturally clean and intelligent. Then we discovered that there were so many different color phases and show qualities, and that was when the real fun began. Now we strive to create the best possible chinchilla in every aspect, trying for the "perfect chinchilla".

Our Success and what we offer
We have over 200 chinchillas and have many from multiple breeders backgrounds such as Dick and Mary Jo Bradford, Ralph and Barbara Shoots, the Millers, the Merritts, Ron Hummel, and we even have a few from Argentina. We specialize in standards and black velvets because they are the base for trying to create the best possible chinchilla, but we have lots of mutations also like beiges, white mosaics, pink whites, and even a few ebonies.

All of our babies are raised in home and are handled from the day they are born. They are very personable and tame and will make great pets or breeders for the home they go to. All of our babies stay with their mothers for at least the first 6-8 weeks, at that point they are usually monitored for show quality and any possible health problems. Once they have passed both of those standards they ready to go to a new home or be held onto for any upcoming shows.
We have received numerous awards for showing chinchillas, including some grand show and reserve grand show champions for both standards and mutations. That shows that we work very hard at breeding the best possible show quality animals. We focus on breeding chinchillas that are large, blocky, and have good fur density, contrast, clarity, strength and length.
We ship anywhere in the United States at the buyers expense, but always prefer to meet people in person.
